WHY DOES IT COST SO MUCH TO SHIP FROM NEW ZEALAND  OR INDONESIA?


 SHIPPING IS DONE BY WEIGHT NOT SIZE OF PACKAGE WHEN SENT OVERSEAS .

We send every thing tracked/insured via international courier (EMS) who weight the box and ship on a weight basis

WHY CAN YOU NOT GIVE A DISCOUNT ON SHIPPING FOR MORE THAN ONE ITEM?

WHY CAN YOU NOT DO FREE SHIP OUTSIDE NEW ZEALAND OR INDONESIA?

Unlike  china and certain other countries where the government heavy subsidizes their shipping costs (why you can buy a item from china and its free shipping on sites the likes of Ebay etc) ,our governments like the USA government do not subsidize the postal services shipping

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO SHIP A MOBILE RADIO?

This varies as to which country and whether that country ACCEPTS EMS shipping, not all countries do. Generally it is between 40-65 dollars for most countries, however in the EU and South America this can be higher or we can not ship to that country via EMS courier.

WILL YOU DISCOUNT THE PRICE OF THE ITEM ON THE CUSTOMS FORM SO THE BUYER CAN AVOID CUSTOMS TAX/FEES?

NO

1/it is  illegal to do so as it comes under customs fraud and evasion of goods sand services tax on imports

2/ if there is a insurance claim on postal damage with EMS it is to the value of the customs form listed price of unit and shipping cost 

WHICH COUNTRIES ACCEPT EMS COURIER SERVICE?

Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Cook Islands, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador El Salvador, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Samoa, Singapore, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, UK, USA , Vanuatu, Uruguay and Vietnam.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE COUNTRY I LIVE IN IS NOT ON THE EMS SERVICE LIST?

If your country is NOT on the EMS international courier service then the only way we can send an item to you is via AIRMAIL which has NO tracking service or insurance service.. the package is at your risk and we do not advise this method at all

HOW COME YOU WILL NOT SEND ANTENNAS OR BASE TYPE RADIOS INTERNATIONALLY?

ANTENNAS: The reason we will not send Antennas internationally is that they exceed the length we can sent overseas so have to pay an extra fee to do so, this is often 2-3 times the cost of the antenna!. It is much cheaper for the customer to source an antenna local to them 

BASE RADIOS: Most base radios are very heavy and in excess of 7KG so cost alot more to send than even two mobile radios as an example to send a 19" rack base radio to the united states it is 180usd just in shipping !..some counties will not expect shipping via the normal EMS international courier service and require it to be sent EMS EXPRESS courier which is VERY expensive 

SMALL ITEMS LIKE MICS ETC

The cost of sending a microphone to a customer often is more than the cost of the microphone!.. although we will send you one it will be via airmail and not EMS International courier, this saves cost to the customer however there will be no tracking or insurance (air-mail does not have either)

LARGE ITEMS

Large items, however do not get priority on flights as it is custom for airlines to send as many as they can on each flight ..many small boxes take the space of one an oversized box we can not be held responsible for any delays in this process with large items like base units or large amplifiers.

POSTAL SERVICES LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL

Tracking of items once they leave our shores are the responsibility of your local postal carrier .. you are as always provided with link to tracking and tracking number on the day the item is sent via email

i n  the case of parcels sent to  united states it is USPS (if sent international courier or express courier )

 tracking from within New Zealand is with NZPOST   NZPOST TRACK

 if with in USA USPS TRACK

 For all other counties  EMS TRACKING  or your local postal carrier

DHL (only from Indonesia)  DHL TRACKING

 INTERNATIONAL COURIER SERVICE

This is our most common service used  and we highly recommend it for service we have been using it since 2008 and we have never lost a package via this service however due to local postal services there can be issues with tracking  mainly from "3rd world" or ex soviet block counties ,some counties have very poor postal service tracking  however the ems sites can only provide information based on information based on YOUR local postal carriers tracking system updates .

All international courier  postage is done with "Track and Trace" with postal insurance. You will be provided with tracking numbers with purchase on the day it is sent. All packages sent to customers within New Zealand or Indonesia are sent normal postal service with tracking.

We generally only use this service to countries we can not send to via the above international courier service
it is a bit more expensive and not really much faster

We DO NOT recommend this service as there is NO TRACKING or INSURANCE

Customers in a small few countries such as the Russian Federation can only be sent packages via airmail although this is not we normally do as airmail has no tracking of packages and is not an advised system to send your very valuable items

NZPOST'S AIR MAIL SERVICE DETAILS

RESIDENTS IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTRIES

Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein
we have noticed some delays with packages arriving please be patience they do arrive and we don't know why this is
In the rare occasion where as a country such as the Russian Federation is the destination of the package we can only send via airmail please be advised there is no tracking for airmail services and no insurance of the item all we get is a consignment number if the item is over 2kg in total weight ,this number can not be tracked .A package less than 2kg gets no number of any kind and are at the mercy of the postal service.

DELAYS / PROBLEMS WITH POSTAL SERVICE

We do not have shares in any postal service or courier company we do not control the mail, we do not have contacts in customs once the package leaves our hands at the post office it is the post office or courier company that has ownership of the item till it is delivered to you. If there is a problem once it leaves New Zealand or Indonesian shores you have to contact your postal service in YOUR country for details of your item in using the tracking number we provide. On the rare occasion we can ask our postal service to search the tracking but the time frame to do so is only 14 days from sending.

Often customs hold an item if fees are due we do not set the time or price they charge!. We also can not be held responsible for these delays which are often due to the receiver of the item not contacting customs in the first place there is a reason why we ask for your daytime phone number

Although we would like speedy delivery of your package sometimes there are delays due to acts of god or delays at customs or courier delays due to stopped flights etc ..we do not control these factors.

PLEASE BE PATIENCE in the 13+ years www.yeticomnz.com has been using the ems service we have NOT lost one package.
We do not set these rules the postal service does.
If you disagree with them please, by all means take it up with them abusive emails from clients about the service will NOT be tolerated.
